Web in a Room — Ái-Như Võ/EIN UFO (SB-008)

»Web in a Room« by Ái-Như Võ / EIN UFO tells the story of a Blob that fears being forgotten more than death. The figure, both uncanny and cute, leaves digital footprints in hopes that loved ones will be able to recreate the being's essence once it’s gone.

The comic book follows a screen-like setup. Soon, text appears in the lower window pane, running along like subtitles. In a monologue, the Blob is moving swiftly between crisp observations and a sense of tentative longing.
